Foosh with dislocated elbow & cracked radial head. Elbow is painfree, but wrist pain is severe. Unable to supinate or pronate & have hand weakness.
See hand surgeon: Elbow injuries of this type are often associated with wrist injuries...And if the elbow injury was concentrated upon, a more subtle wrist injury may have been missed. Cold : For lateral epicondylitis(tennis elbow) cold wraps are more effective when they are hurting as they vasoconstrict the blood vessels to the area and thus decrease swelling. R arm/shoulder/neck pain ×7yrs. Hand is cold, fingers swollen. Surgeries include : wrist tendon release/bone spur, wrist for torn ligaments & radial nerve release. Zero pain relief. Where to go now?
6 weeks post-surgery rotator cuff. Discontinued sling. Hand swollen, pain (sometimes severe) in thumb pad & "click" when thumb moves. Problem?

Get examined!: At age 55 your most common cause for this pain would still be 'impingement' ( or bursitis). Labral tears causing this pain are less likely unless associated with the biceps 'anchor'( SLAP) lesions -- but less likely in isolation in your age group.Osteoarthritis can cause pain in this distribution .
