Need more info....: Not all 100% blocked lesions need to be fixed. Depends on symptoms, if any, and more importantly can they be attributed to that lesion. That is, your body might have already formed "auto-bypasses" to the chronic blockage. You and your cardiologist need to have a frank discussion about your options: do nothing, medical management or interventional based treatment; risks/benefits and trade-offs. ...Read more

What does ur doc say: You don't mention that your doctor feels you need any further tests. People can get preoccupied about their genitals which may be a psychological problem. If there is erectile dysfunction with or without a treatable physical condition, medication such as viagra (sildenafil) or Cialis can be helpful. No screening: There is nothing called screening for mesenteric stenosis. If you have no symptoms then you no need to screen for occlusion. If you have chronic symptoms then duplex ultrasound is a good starting test but has a lot of limitations. In cases of acute ischemia then ct scan is best to start with. ...Read more
