How much arsenic and menthol are in a cigarette?

How much arsenic and menthol are in a cigarette?

No good data: Arsenic is a side effect of the type of soil the tobacco is grown in. This is not regulated. Menthol is an additive to improve the taste and encourage the use of the product. If these things concern you, then perhaps this is a terrific time to reconsider your tobaccom addiction and stop for good. Tobacco smoke is full of toxins, poisons and noxious material.

What are the symptoms of arsenic poisoning?

Variable: The effects of arsenic depend on whether a person has a large short-term exposure or low level long-term exposure. It affects mainly the skin, liver, and kidney; but there can be neurological signs too. Here's one of the better websites to go to for information: http://www. Atsdr. Cdc. Gov/phs/phs. Asp? Which heavy metal tests for autism: lead, mercury, or arsenic?

None of the above: Unless there is a history of exposure to & clinical symptoms of a specific toxicity, except for AAP-recommended lead screening. Quackwatch. Com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/Tests/urine_toxic. Html describes fraudulent "heavy metal toxicity" panels by proprietary labs. I've had to provide medical expert testimony in cases of State vs. Parents of kids with ASD who had seizures or died during chelation.

Lab results for u arsenic, 24hr was 46 range 0-35, u arsenic conc 39 range 0-35. What does this mean?

Not much: Those values are not impressive and are likely due to eating fish or shellfish. Abstain from eating these foods for a week and repeat the tests. If the arsenic level is significantly elevated, have the doctor run organic vs inorganic arsenic levels.

I just heard that eating rice and oatmeal is bad for you because of the arsenic containment. Is this correct about oatmeal?

No: That is wrong. In the U.S., an arsenic level would be very low, if any. However, you can reduce this risk by buying organic oatmeal (steel-cut for example) and bulk rice or different asian rices (india, china, korea). Don't buy the junk american rice like uncle ben's.

With a diognosis of APL 4 days ago, will I have to take arsenic for how long after induction? What's usually the treatment duration. Iam 27

Arsenic therapy: Induction for APL with arsenic trioxide and all trans retinoic acid (ATRA) therapy is usually successful The duration is something I would ask your treating oncologist. Long term effects of arsenic side effects skin discoloration, low blood count, muscle and nerve damage. Key to the complete remission is healthy eating plant strong diet and optimizing your health overall. Good luck.

What do I do about arsenic in our well water?

What do I do about arsenic in our well water?

Test, avoid: If your water table leaches arsenic into the water in the well, you need it tested for concentration. If below levels that are a problem (doesn't need to be zero), then you are ok. If above such levels you can stop using it, or use it only for non-consumption issues, or obtain chemical filters which will remove the arsenic.
