Why do my arms and legs go numb and and hurt if I bend them?

Why do my arms and legs go numb and and hurt if I bend them?

See a neurologist: It is unusual to get numbness in all limbs on bending but possibility could be pinched nerves on bending. Peripheral neuropathy can also be considered. You may need ncv/ EMG test.

Doc checkup: Unfortunately your symptoms may represent a large number of diagnostic possibilities from "nothing " to more serious. Before you get too concerned however, I would recommend an appointment with your family doctor. If you don't have one but have insurance check online with your provider. Sorry to be elusive but its my honest opinion!

Parathesias: Your symptoms most likely go along with some sort of a nerve impingement syndrome. Have the Dr evaluate you for this and an EMG might be needed to further clarify the severity of it. Best wishes.

? Pressure on nerves: It could be caused by pressure on nerves by sitting in one position for too long or sitting in an awkward position this is usually a temporary condition that goes away. However, it could also indicate that something is wrong. I would consider seeing the doctor.

I would like to find out what is causing my multipal symptoms? My sympomtoms are. Feeling of getting shocked through out my body, feeling of my head spining a lot, numbness in my arms and legs, hard time falling asleep and staying asleep, pain in my eyes,

I: I can understand your frustration, as those symptoms sound very distressing. As you have multiple ongoing symptoms, a complete medical evaluation is warranted. Please seek out a physician. It may help to take a list of your symptoms so that they can review it, along with your past medical history and any medications or supplements you are taking.

Cannot diagnose: Have no idea what tests were performed, and in order for you to receive any decent advice the doctor (try a neurologist) will need a full detailed history, your prior medical records and a physical exam. They could then determine whether imaging studies or other tests are needed. Good luck with this.

Pinched nerve: A pinched nerve can cause neck pain headaches, and pain or numbness running into the arm. There are other potential causes, however, and so it would be good to just get a regular check up to make sure it is nothing else. Physical therapy, chiropractic, and interventional pain management are the non operative treatments for it if it doesn't get better. Thank you.

Weakness: Strokes do not normally cause pain. People may notice numbness or weakness in the face, arms or legs (usually on one side or another) or they may have difficulty speaking or thinking. Leg numbness can be from the brain, spine, or peripheral nerves and it should be checked out by your doctor.

The periodic weakness, paralysis and numbness of limbs may suggest a warning of a stroke. You should seek formal neurologic evaluation.
