Feeling tightness & pain under armpit-nerve (?) in armpit feels tight (pulled) compared to other arm which is loose. What would cause this? Already have neck & and arm pain. Treatable conservatively?
Usually will resolve: Definitely need more details to help assess this more. A non-trauma or injury related neck strain will usually resolve on its own with rest, heat, stretching and massage. A strain: This pain is most likely related to strain or overuse..you may not be aware of how or when it occurred. Since you have no other symptoms and are young, I think you can manage it yourself for a couple days: ice (15 minutes 3-4 times/day), then possibly heat, gentle stretching, avoid re-injury, & ibuprofen 600 mg three times a day for just a couple days.
