Can be other things.: Other things can cause phlebitis, like bacterial infection which can explain why you are on keflex. Machanical trauma from an IV needle can do it, as can chemicals that cause irritations or burns. Medications, like antidepressants, alcohol, and drugs (opiates) can also do it. Finally, it can be genetic, and run in families. If in your leg, too much standing can do it. See your dr. Fast. ...Read more

I have neck pain that radiates to arm like pinching but worse when I get up from bed is the worse what can it be I haven't had any trauma to it ?

I have neck pain that radiates to arm like pinching but worse when I get up from bed is the worse what can it be I haven't had any trauma to it ?

Muscular most likely: The most likely cause is myofascial or muscular pain. It is possible that certain positions you might be sleeping in could be the cause of your pain. If you are experiencing any numbness/tingling or weakness it is possible it is a pinched nerve in the neck. If you're not having any of these nerve symptoms, I would suggest trying different pillows. I have a light bruise along a vein in my arm. The area hasn't experienced any trauma, should I be worried ?

Bruise along vein: Keep an eye on it. It is not very common to have problems with the veins in the arms. Spontaneous blood clots in the arms are very rare in the absence of trauma. Phlebitis (vein inflammation) in the arms is also rare. If not swollen, red or painful, and if you don't have fevers or any other symptoms, just watch it. If it gets worse or you have bleeding other places, see a doctor. ...Read more
