My left arm falls asleep constantly. Inside of arm tingles from arm pit to finger tips. ?

Heavinees in arm from shoulder to hand. Clean ncs around hand/wrist and clean emg from deltoid to hand muscles. Arm still strong just heavy feeling?

Any MRIs? any pain?: "heaviness" can result from rotator cuff injuries. Coordination problems can also mimic heaviness and can result from central nervous system issues. Obviously problems like this can range from something completely benign, to something significant like ms. If you have had ncs/emg studies done, you're obviously in with a neurologist or someone else specialized in evaluating such conditions. ...Read more

Swelling on partners arm. Getting bigger?

The first thing: one thinks about when there localized (just in one spot) swelling is some type of local inflammatory reaction due to a local infection from an infected cut, scrape, insect bite? Swelling could also result for injury/trauma to the area. Rarely would a blood vessel/clot problem be the cause. Especially concerning if associated redness and heat. Severe onset of left shoulder blade pain that radiates down left arm & hand.Left arm also tingles.Whole left arm is weak. Neck is fine though.

Radiculopathy: Pain that radiates down the arm can reflect a cervical radiculopathy (shooting pains due to a pinched nerve in the cervical spine). Many patients will have no associated neck pain. These conditions typically resolve with time and conservative treatment. It would be reasonable to watch it for a week or two, and use NSAIDs if needed, before seeing a physician. ...Read more

Trapped nerve in shoulder, severe pins & needles going down arm now getting constant itchy hand. Is this dangerous ?

Trapped nerve in shoulder, severe pins & needles going down arm now getting constant itchy hand. Is this dangerous ?

Not with treatment.: This sounds like a pinched nerve in the neck which is most likely the cause of your symptoms. You'll need to get it confirmed by nerve tests by a neurologist. It could be a peripheral nerve lesion (uncommon though) like a carpal or cubital t syndrome with retrograde radiation. The nerve test will help greatly. You might need surgery to decompress it, if nothing helps. ...Read more
