Stroke or MS: Sudden weakness & numbness is worrisome for stroke. Think fast: face, arms, speech & time. Obviously someone didn't think that you're having a stroke. Multiple sclerosis comes to mind in young caucasian females especially those living in northern latitudes. But the best person to answer your question is the doc who ordered the test! Difficult dilemma: Although you could be experiencing nerve compressions at several levels in your spine, you might also be suffering cervical stenosis, which is compressing spinal cord and nerve roots. NEED DIAGNOSIS: You symptoms of spasticity, numbness, and weakness are not consistent with restless leg syndrome, and the pattern of fatigue seems also atypical. You need to describe all of this to the new doctor, as ms could be a consideration, but so could other diseases. Hopefully, your neurologist should readily sort out all of this and start appropriate treatment, but if questions arise, contact us again. ...Read more

I'm 36yrs old. I'm suffering from muscle weakness all over my body specially with my arms and legs. Tremors in other part of my body also numbness.

Need workup: Your symptoms too nonspecific to give you a firm diagnosis in 400 characters or less. You should see your doctor for a full workup including thyroid analysis, metabolic survey, & other testing as appropriate depending upon what's found. Good luck. Try keeping track of the TREMORS as to whether they are more prominent with activity or at rest and if weakness comes and goes or constantly there. ...Read more
