Various dep on dose: Common reactions include: nausea, diarrhea, headache, insomnia, dizziness, muscle cramps, vomiting, fatigue, loss of appetite, and weight loss. Less common but serious reactions can occur in some individuals, including: AV block, slowed heart rate, fainting, seizures, and GI bleeding. Possibly less: I would first ask if Alzheimer's (DAT) is the correct diagnosis. DAT is not always the correct diagnosis in cases of neurocognitive disorders (dementia). Other conditions also cause trouble with memory and thinking in advanced age and are often missed.
