Theraband: If your foot/ ankle is stiff after cast immobilization then rom / strengthening exercises can begin. We generally show our patients how to work on gentle range of motion of their ankle and subtalar joint. We also show them theraband ( rubber band stretch materiel in different resistances)exercises they can do @ home. Also'stork' or balance training can be done. Perhaps you have an injury to the fascia around your ankle joint, or a small injury to the cartilage that cannot be seen. Finding this will require a different kind of examination.
