Can pectus carinatum just "appear" one day in a 14 yo girl with no problems with chest before & then have huge turned sternum ridge? Mri needed 4 dx?
Unusual: Pectus carinatum doesn't usually just appear. It has been there all along. It ay have become more pronounced acutely and can be more on one side that the other. An MRI can be very helpful as can a chiropractor in many cases. An MRI is very helpful in case it is not pectus carintaum.
Chest flutters/spasms in left breastbone, (pectus carinatum) extreme pain and have been diagnosed with SVT & possible nerve/muscle damage va can't fix?
Can't fix?: Nerve damage, in particular, is often not correctable but svt virtually always is. You have separate problems. There may not be much to do for the nerve damage other than medications that modify the pain but see a cardiologist for the svt. That can be helped!
