Using protein powder: will only add calories. Protein daily requirement is 50gms. You only need to supplement if you are doing heavy workouts. It alone will not cause weight loss. A good balanced diet and an exercise program will give results. You must be aware that if you lose fat & replace it with muscle, you may see no great wt. loss but you will be more defined & healthy.
