Hello doctor if I wanna be in a good healthy diet what can I try to eat on my most of breakfast lunch and dinner?
More veggies!: Aim for at least half of your plate to be plant-based (mostly vegetables, some legumes, a little fruit). And keep your plate size less than 9 inches. Avoid fried foods. Drink plenty water. No sodas or sugary drinks. No artificial flavors or colors. Read labels if you eat or drink packaged foods. If you cannot easily recognize or pronounce the ingredient, you should keep it out of your diet.See 1 more doctor answer

Is a virtual colonoscopy a good choice for a 35 yo healthy female who has a family history of colon cancer?
Perhaps: Virtual colonoscopy can certainly find colon polyps. The problem is that if one is found you would have to have another colon prep and colonoscopy so that the polyp could be biopsied. If you have a strong family history or other risk factors for colon cancer colonoscopy may be the better test.See 1 more doctor answer
No luck with lexapro, is Effexor (venlafaxine) a good second choice for treating depression and anxiety in a 22 year old in good health otherwise?
Many possibilities: There are many antidepressants from which to choose. Recent studies suggest that just because 1st drug from a family doesn't work doesn't mean that you need to switch drug families. Also, we can't say a drug didn't work unless you couldn't tolerate the highest dose. Lexapro (escitalopram) is a member of ssri family of which there are many. Both exercise and di: A lot of guys are skinny at your age. Growing taller and filling out don't necessarily happen at the same time. A balanced diet, with protein in at least two meals with a lot of fruits and vegetables will help. If you want to increase your muscle mass, you need to start on an exercise program. If you are not in sports at school, joining a gym will be a place to start.
Your definition...?: What do you consider "healthiest" to mean in reference to food--low or high (high or low) in calories, nutritional value, satiety, taste, texture, quantity, quality, composition, origin, safety...?
