That's safe: I'm assuming you are otherwise healthy. It is probably not doing you any good or any harm. Very high doses can produce oxalate toxicity and ruin your kidneys. I think every physician here will agree with me that health doesn't come out of a pill bottle. You're in the prime of your manhood -- perhaps you are already undertaking, or considering, a major fitness ccommitment. More good than vitamins. ...Read more

Any time is good: Our bodies need vitamin c 24 hours a day so it should not make a big difference when you take it. However, vitamin c does not stay in your body for very long so it is wise to take it at least twice a day. I take vitamin c in the morning and evening but it might be even better to take 3x/day.
