Not advisable : They could be surgically removed, but scar likely more noticeable than freckles. Otc fade creams unlikely to work, and i wouldn't advise rx. Better to reduce the number of new freckles which increase with sun exposure. Needs checking: I would be concerned about anything painful and white on the sole of the foot in an older person. Pressure sores can present this way.
