How does appendix pain begin? I have a mild pain around my lower abdon that's getting better after passing gas. Is this appendix pain?
Unlikely: This is not likely to be pain from the appendix. Appendix pain would not get better after passing gas. This pain probably is caused by the distension of the colon from the gas. I get pains that last a few seconds by my appendix area a few times a week. Its sharp but doesn't last long. That's my only symptom. Gas or appendix?

Could be gallbladder: The symptoms described occurring with meals in the right upper abdomen assoc. With gas could be gallstones. Need to see PCP for evaluation & tests. I had surgery in december I got my appendix out and since then I have had gas pain I have the feeling like its there I always feel sick and don't eat?
