Apo Acetaminophen 500mg
Maybe.: I have patients that take lortab (has 500 mg of acetominophen in each tab) 4 times a day....So a 5th tablet will be likely ok. Taking 2500 all at once is not recommended......If the pain is that bad, go see your doctor. Your liver needs to be monitored if you are taking acetominophen at this dosage. ...Read more
Nothing one time: Probably nothing if taken one time, but bad to repeat it as you can cause liver disease. ...Read more
Took about 5 pills of acetaminophen each 500mg. And smoked two cigarettes within an hour. Is that harmful?
Possibly!: Maximum Acetaminophen per 24 hour period should not exceed 3500-4000 mg. Long term excessive use may cause irreversable liver damage. Smoking cigarettes just not a good healthy thing to do, however, I see this as a personel choice. I would consider putting the cigarettes down and exercise every time you think a out smoking, that is how I kicked the habit 34 years ago! Good luck. ...Read more
Took 10mg Statex four times a day for 1 1/2 days. How long before I can switch back to Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500mg?
We had 3 22oz beers last night, the last one around 630 and at 8 this morning 1 took 2 500mg acetaminophen. Is this a bad thing?
Honestly, yes.: It's a "bad thing" but not necessarily for the reason you think. One 1 gram dose of acetaminophen isn't going to damage your liver, regardless of how much you had to drink the night before. But consuming the equivalent of a 6 pack of beer, especially for a female, is "binge drinking." That's "a bad thing" to do to your body. ...Read more

No more than 3000 mg: Do not take more than 3000 mg a day of acetaminophen. Symptoms of toxicity are stomach upset, abdominal pain, and vomiting. Unfortunately tylenol toxicity doesn't have any symptoms until damage is being done to your liver, so it is best to be careful with it up front. ...Read more
It depends: This is an important question. Too much acetaminophen is dangerous. According to Epocrates, a drug information program, most healthy adults can get up to about 1, 000 mg in 4 hrs, and 4, 000 mg (4 grams) per day safely. Children should get less, based on their age or weight. Read labels carefully, and ask your doctor or nurse if unsure. ...Read more

See below: Depends on how much is 'too much'. If one extra tablet one time, probably ok. If more that 2 extra tablets, should go to er. If 1 or 2 extra on multiple occasions should see your doctor.
