Any Remedies Acne
None that work: Acne is a serious, chronic, non-lifestyle-related illness that eventually but unpredictably self-cures as the person ages. If topical benzoyl peroxide has not cleared you in two weeks, get with your personal physician. "pop" cures like lemon or sleeping with your face smeared with honey are cruel internet pranks. Tea tree oil is an estrogen -- it may help but can give guys breasts. ...Read more

Acne's a serious liability especially in the working world. The one home 'pop' remedy that may help is tea tree oil -- if you're a man, it may cause you to grow breasts. Your physician's your best friend. ...Read more

11yo: In the question, 11yrs old should not be trying home remedies for acne or anything else. No: The stuff you'll read about on the internet is just made up. For real acne scars, you'll need a dermatologist or plastic surgeon with microsurgery, a filler, or a laser. For the dark pigmentation, best let it fade on its own over months or try hydroquinone. There's no treating the red post-acne spots other than time. ...Read more
Forgive my frankness: Acne needs to be treated aggressively before it produces scars. "natural remedies" don't work. Acne on the trunk requires prescription-strength rx. Frankly, it's bad enough that junior ended up getting scarred in the first place. Pigment fades by itself, but true scars will require serious rx -- microsurgery, laser ;/or filler -- from a specialist, not more "pop" remedies. ...Read more

If your family's devotion to "natural healing" caused them to neglect this serious and permanently disfiguring disease, i hope this will cause you to wise up and recognize how wrong they were not to get you a real rx. Get with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon -- it's likely they maybe able to help some. ...Read more
