If its on the: Outside it could be a bursitis called trchanteric bursitis, especially if it's tender when u touch it. Aleve (naproxen) 2 tablets twice daily may help. That would likely help anyway as long as you have no contraindication. Good luck, see doc if worsens. ...Read more
