Every type of antidepressant i take for anxiety and depression makes my anxiety and breathing go wrong can anyone suggest something plz.
I have really bad anxiety. My breathing got worse. Thedoctor still says it is all in my head. I have seen psychiatristsbut it was a waste of money as nothing seems to help. What can I do? Please help.
When i said my anxiety and breathing goes wrong just after i've taken my antidepressant a doctor suggested i needed a calming med. What types ?.
Due to Anxiety, improper breathing is causing chest discomfort and buzzing pains in chest and stomach. Any medication to ease symptoms n avoid attack?
Lots of meds: address this, but for those you'll need a psychiatrist. The usual ones are SSRI's or SSNRI's, and there's a long list. Have you also considered the CAUSE of your anxiety? Meds will help cope in the short run but won't address the underlying dynamics, other than adding a little confidence with symptom reduction. Apparently so: As dr. Howell says, there's controversy about this, as there's money in selling aspartame-sweetened diet drinks and more. However, cleansing your system of toxins when you have unusual symptoms makes sense. "non-nutritional" sweetener is what it's euphemistically called. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/11/06/aspartame-most-dangerous-substance-added-to-food.aspx. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Can musculoskeletal tension, rhinitis, and anxiety cause breathing problems. I had pft which confirmed asthma. I don't take any medications. Should i?
Asthma: Yes but keep in mind people who are short of breath will also have increased muscle tension so difficult to tell cause and effect. Sounds like you would benefit from treatment-may be able to get by with treatment for rhinitis alone but for sure if you are symptomatic then you should be on therapy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Stomach distension causing discomfort breathing problems. What is cause? Anxiety, breathing too much, stress. Did not have before this year
Cramp of diaphragm: The primary muscle that helps us to breathe is the diaphragm and attaches along the ribs from the chest to the spine and lays over top of all organs in the abdomen. The diaphragm, like all muscles, can fatigue and cramp with over use or tension. When you become distressed either due to the pain or tension, this causes you to breathe harder. This adds more stress on the diaphragm. ...Read more

Side effects: Geodon, ziprasidone, is a member of the "atypical neuroleptics", which does carry a low risk of movement disorder. There are too few data to assess the possible interaction with hydroquinone, which you also take. Please see an md to help you address this. ...Read more

How hard is it to reverse chronic hyperventilation syndome? Years of over breathing from anxiety have altered my breathing pattern and i'm suffering.
Hard but achievable!: Although chronic hvs is difficult to correctly diagnose and treat, stress reduction therapy, administration of beta blockers, ssris, benzodizepines and breathing retraining have all proved effective in reducing the intensity and the frequency of episodes of hyperventilation. Acupuncture and yoga have also been shown to reduce stress and thus the frequency of hvs. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
