Further workup: Not sure what else you have been evaluated for but panels such as EBV and Lyme may be helpful. The symptoms may be consistent with fibromyalgia and there are treatment options available for which I recommend seeing your PCP or neurologist. Here are some things: You can do to help yourself. Start w a med eval. It may uncover underlying medical problems that need to be addressed. Cognitive behavioral therapy can be quite effective. Possibly: Our minds deal with stress and anxiety in different ways, one of which is somatization, or converting mental issues into physical ones. Probably linked but: There are many possible ways these could be linked. Anxiety tends to make any symptom worse but usually alone does not cause aches. Poor sleep can aggravate anxiety & cause aches- as dr. Doubtful from meds: Your history of anxiety may be provoking your ongoing feelings of "brain fog" more than the residual effects of the antibiotic.
