Tightness inside of anus and tingling sensation near pee hole. Seems to be bothered by with pro longed standing. What could this be?

Maybe nothing wrong?: These are very nonspecific symptoms, meaning that they do not point to any particular disorder. It sounds like you're just describing awareness of both orifices, i.e. minor sensations that don't indicate anything wrong. And I can't think of any condition that could cause both anal and urethral ("pee hole") symptoms like this. But if these feelings definitely are abnormal for you, see a doctor. ...Read more

Tightness inside of anus and tingling sensation on penis, Received unprotected oral last week, feel this when standing for a while, what could it be?

Tightness inside of anus and tingling sensation on penis, Received unprotected oral last week, feel this when standing for a while, what could it be?

Sounds like anxiety: This repeats an earlier question, this time with the new information about your sexual exposure. This makes me even more suspicious about genitally focused anxiety, i.e. heightened awareness of minor symptoms ro normal sensations because of your concerns about the sexual exposure. No STD is likely, and of course you can't get an anal STD by this contact. But see a doctor if you remain concerned. ...Read more

Whatcauses tingling in the anus?

Whatcauses tingling in the anus?

Multiple causes: Tingling can be from a fissure which is healing (a crack in the skin) or perhaps from a pinworm infection. In either case I would recommend you seek medical attention and be examined. Anything that causes slight irritation can cause a little sphincter spasm and this can be desciribed as tingling ...Read more

Spinal Cord: Numbness and tingling in the rectal area can be an early sign of spinal cord dysfunction. The list of causes can be numerous. I would recommend further evaluation by a neurologist once other causes of local nerve irritation have been excluded by your primary physician. ...Read more

I'm having Tingling sensation in anus. What could be the reason?

Tingling?: I'm not sure what you're describing, but if by "tingling" you're referring to itching, and it's isolated to your anus, it could be a pinworm infection, especially if it's worse at night. You should see a physician to be examined and possibly have a stool specimen examined for parasites, including pin or roundworms. ...Read more

I have an irritated tingling feeling near or on my anus. I don't have the urge to scratch what could it be?

Exam is appropriate: You have localized your problem to the peri-anal area. The problem may be GI related (e.g. Colonic/ rectal inflammation, mass, rectal/anal dysfunction, colonic dysmotility), parasites but may be extrinsic to the GI tract (dermatologic, bladder, and in women peri-uterine, vaginal). Exam is definitely warranted for diagnosis ; appropriate treatment. ...Read more

Why my anus skin somethimes open and sometimes its heal but, is open again, itch, burn when wash, tingling sensacion. ..

I do not know: You need a physical exam and evaluation. Anal fissures can occur with constipation, that may cause cracks in the skin. Moisture or leakage of stool, or not wiping fully, can all lead to anal itching and burning over time. Get an eval to get the diagnosis, so treatment can occur. Best wishes. ...Read more

Hemorrhoid or yeast: Hemorrhoids can cause an itching sensation. Yeast infections are also common in that area and may present with itching. An antifungal cream could help this. Not as common, but pinworm infections can cause itching also. If hemorrhoid creams and anti fungal creams do not help the symptoms, a doctor can make the diagnosis by an exam. ...Read more

I have been diagnosed with disc bulges l4-l5 and l5-s1, I've started getting tingling sensation above my anus should I go to a&e?

I have been diagnosed with disc bulges l4-l5 and l5-s1, I've started getting tingling sensation above my anus should I go to a&e?

Not necessarily: Hi TKnox, Perianal tingling can happen as a result of nerve root compression in the sacral spine which is slightly lower than the level you describe here. However, this may be part of a more diffuse degenerative spine/joint disease (DJD). A&E is an option but if your GP is available you might want to check with him first. Your DJD may have gotten worse so may need an exam and imaging. Best of luck ...Read more
