I have a mass on my anus, it is external as far as i can tell. It is very painful and swells bad (glofball sized). Now having blood. What could it be?
Pain in the back end: Bleeding and pain with bm, along with a mass is likely clotted external hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoid usually does not hurt and blood is often found coating the stool rather than mixing with it. Thrombosed external hemorrhoids and fissures are truly pain in the _ _ _ but not dangerous, and can be treated. Consult doc for eval and treatment. Good luck. ...Read more

Anal discomfort: It is reassuring that your physician found no obvious abnormalities on inspecting and examining your anus and rectum, but you'll be more reassured after a proctologist or gastroenterologist performs an sigmoidosopic exam. Must see physician: Rectal bleeding in a person age 24 is more likely due to bleeding internal hemorrhoids rather than colorectal cancer.
