Go to.....?: You should not mix Xanax with sedating antihistamines like diphenhydramine (Benadryl) since taking them together increases the sedative effect. Im taking hydroxyzine 10mg daily for anxiety then I'm also taking singulair (montelukast) for sinusitis. I understand hydroxyzine has antihistamine property. Ok?
Ive had reactions to benadryl abd phenegran that include high HR, full body shaking, high BP. Is hydroxizine therefore bad for me to take for anxiety since it too is a 1st generatiin antihistamine? Afraid to try due to bad reactions to other drugs.
