Can the antibiotic bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) ds be used to treat strep throat? Will it cure strept.
I tested + for strep b via culture after giving it to a girlfriend, but have zero symptoms. As a carrier, should I still be treated with antibiotics?

Consider tylenol (acetaminophen) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Saltwater gargles: mix 1 tsp salt in 8 oz warm water – gargle several times a day.
