No help: Hi. A cold is a viral illness and Azithral is a BACTERIAL antibiotic...absolutely no help for a cold. But azithromycin will not impair fertility. Maybe: Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is a category c medicine in pregnancy. This means adverse fetal effects in animals but no controlled human studies or no human/animal studies done... So, we usually use proven antibiotics with better studies or track record. Bottom line - take them if it's the only possible med that will work (i doubt it) or discuss it again with your doc.
