No it won't: Antifungal medicines work against certain fungi - like Candida if you have a yeast infection. Impetigo is caused by bacteria - either Staph or sometimes Strep. So there shouldn't be any major problems taking both medicines. Hopefully you can overcome these infections soon. The antibiotic: Would have treated the impetigo already.As long as the lesion is no longer weepy , give it some time to heal. If swelling under the chin gets bigger , red, tender , it may mean there is pus developing under or an abscess is forming. If that is the case, you need to see your doctor again ...Read more
