Rabies vaccine: Rabies vaccine is considered safe and in no way could trigger rabies itself -even if it was stored improperly or whatever. The company that makes the vaccine has quality controls that check the lots-so there are no concerns of that. Taken full course of anti rabies vaccine last month again exposure and received 4 doses of anti rabies vaccine exposure again then am i safe rabies?
Depends: on whether you received rabies immune globulin or the vaccine or both, which I assume was the case. Immune globulin offers temporary protection after exposure. The vaccine induces your own antibody production. Once you have received the vaccine, you will no longer be given the immune globulin after exposure but will be given the vaccine after exposure. In other words, each exposure requires vaccine administration but only the first requires immune globulin.http://www.cdc.gov/rabies/medical_care/ ...Read more
