I 'm 48 years old. Now i have a seedling fibroid of size 11.2 x 8.5 in the anterior wall of uterus. What will be the treatment?does it affect pregnanc

Not an issue: To answer your question, I need to make an assumption: The measurements you gave are in mm not cm. If this is true and it is in the wall of the uterus (rather than inside the uterine cavity) it should not affect your ability to get pregnant and doesn't require treatment. A bigger issue for you is that at age 48 it can be quite difficult to get pregnant even if nothing is wrong. Best wishes! ...Read more

16 weeks pregnant with blood clot at anterior wall of uterus had bleeding thrice. Now on progesterone 200mg twice for 15 days. What are the risks&solution?

Subchorionic bleed: Sounds like you have a subchorionic or subamniotic hematoma. Most of these will resolve over time. If you are a smoker, have other chronic health issues, it could get larger and cause a placental abrution. Mostly it requires close follow up and I would avoid intercourse until it resolves. ...Read more

Fibroids in the anterior wall of the uterus, what does that mean? Does it mean inside the uterus or outside the uterus?

Fibroids in the anterior wall of the uterus, what does that mean? Does it mean inside the uterus or outside the uterus?

Part of the uterus: Fibroids are benign tumors of uterine muscle. They are always part of the uterus, although they may grow in a variety of directions. If fibroids cause no symptoms, no treatment is necessary. If they do cause symptoms (heavy bleeding, pressure), then opinions from both a gyn (who may offer surgery) and an interventional radiologist (who may offer embolization) would be helpful. ...Read more

I have a 6.2cm uterine fibroid in the anterior wall of my uterus I wanted to know if that is blocking any of my tubes and if I will ever get pregnant?

Probably not;hopeful: The fibroids' location in the anterior wall of the uterus makes it less likely that it is causing any blockage of the tube or causing infertility. Fibroids are thought to account for only 5% of infertility cases. A test called a hsg that radiology can do, would be able to determine if the tubes are blocked. Many issues to discuss with your dr.
