No: No, gas-x is fine with zithromax, it is not an antacid. Antacids would be considered things like tums, rolaids, maalox, etc. If you're having minor heartburn, you could take Pepcid or zantac, (ranitidine) those are not antacids, either, and can be taken with zithromax. ...Read more
