Maximum Dose: By "hydromorphone contin" i asume you mean long acting hydromorphone or exalgo. There is no maximum dose of any pure mu opioid medication. That said going up and up and up on a drug with no meaningful improvement in pain or level of function makes no sense. ...Read more
