What did you do right after the injury? Were you off it for any length of time, or did you resume your normal activities. If you wrapped it in an Ace bandage, that does not provide any support. It could be a stretched, or even torn, ankle ligament. It could be a problem with the large tendons at that level of the ankle. Finally, it could be a bone problem. You should start w/ xrays.
