Possible Problem: No. A stiff sore ankle is a sign of inflammation. This could be the result of an injury or of repeated microtrauma. You it needs to be treated with some rest, possibly nsaid's, and then a gradual return to exercise. If is does resolve with a few days of rest or it it recurs when you return to exercise - you should have it evaluated by you physician or a sports medicine physician. ...Read more

A few thoughts...: Could be arthritis as some people have start-up stiffness that diminishes after they get going. Also if there is swelling that is a component this may decrease with activity and allow greater range of motion. Could also be tendinopathy/paratenonitis. Rest & see foot doc: Ankle pain after changing activity can be due to tendonitis or shin splints. It's hard to say for sure, because we need to know how long you've had it, how long you've been running, etc. Did you orthotics or are you asking if you should? See your doc or a podiatrist to figure out what's going on. Back off some of the running and don't do it if it hurts. Stretch well before and after, always! ...Read more

Deep ankle pain at times a soreness. Sometimes worse with dorsiflexion. Worse on days I run and I noticed that I tend to overpronate sometimes.

Cartilage injury: Although it is unusual to have early arthritis at such a young age it is possible that an injury to the Cartlidge of the ankle took place even while in school and now impact as well as dorsiflexion can apply pressure to the Cartlidge of the dome of the talus or The distal tibia. Strengthen....: Strengthening your hips, knees, and ankles will often make it easier to run without pain. The best thing to do is see your doctor who may refer you to a physical therapist. One can also get exercises off the internet. Be sure to have well fitting shoes, proper arch support, and exercise on a flat, stable surface. If overweight, one should lose some weight... Junk: Mabe the cause of your pain, likely referring to synovitis and osteochondral defects. Try nsaids and possible steroid injection into ankle or cleaned out with scope. ...Read more

Fatigue: There are lots of reasons your legs may hurt. Fatigue from doing too much, too fast. Poor shoes. Poor biomechanics. I would look at my running shoes and see if they need replacement. If not then visit your favorite podiatrist for an exam. ...Read more

During workout while running the inside part between ankle and knee part of my leg hurts. After running the inner part will be sore for 2-3 days.
