Ankle Losing Spondylitis
I have severely flat feet. Could this be causing me to have this pulsating intermittent anterior ankle pain? I also have an autoimmune spondylitis.
Have knee, ankle & tendon swelling due to Ankylosing Spondylitis , will soaking it in Epsom salt and cold water help?
Unlikely: The treatment of your ankylosing spondylitis should include anti-inflammatory medication!!! This should also be sufficient to treat your ankle/tendon swelling unless something ELSE is going on (eg GOUT can be worsened by some anti-inflammatory medications) Consult with your Rheumatologist! Can ankle stiffness and shin pain as well as swelling be symptomatic of ankylosing splondylitis? My father was diagnosed a swell as older brother.
No: These are not typical symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis. The main symptoms are back stiffness and pain. Typically pain proves with activity and increases at rest.
