I got dry and itchy skin during winter. Now, i get red itchy spot on my skin, but only a few on arm, leg and my body. What is the diagnosis?

Eczema: Could be a condition called eczema. If it bleeds after you scratch it could be psoriasis especially if you notice white scaly skin. Try over the counter cortisone cream to see it helps. Happy to help.: There are a couple of possibilities. First, dermatographism is a condition where scratching or marking the skin causes hives. Second, hives can arise without scratching as well. Antihistamines like Zyrtec/Allegra can help. Doubtful: Hydrocortisone is helpful for itchy or inflamed rashes. We believe that pityriasis is caused by a virus and not inflammatory.
