If it is towards the bk, it sounds like u cd have strained the Flexor Digitorum Longus (FDL) tendon which runs from behind the knee to the medial (inner) part of the mid foot. Might need to see Dr: There are many causes of knee pain. Tendinitis generally doesnt respond to medications. A physiotherapist might be helpful re your bracing. Suggest get it checked if worsening. Scar is your friend: In this case scar is your friend as it by this mechanism that healing of sprains occurs it takes several months to fully recover/ try to avoid repeat injuries general stretching helps/ backward walking helps/ hot and cold packs help and the both work go back and forth between the two also consider wrapping the ankle with plastic wrap at bedtime this helps to limber up stiff tissue good luck in. ...Read more

IT CAN BE FIXED: To be clear, you had a dorsiflexory osteotomy of the 1st metatarsal, and it was raised too much? If so, the surgery is essentially reversed to drop the metatarsal down.
