Hello i got my peripheral nerve damage doing an angiogram last month, but for a weem now I have being feeling a cold wet feeling going down leg?

Time: There is no treatment for nerve damage except to wait for healing which can take a long time (depending on severity, up to a year). The issue is whether there is anything else going on - generally the symptoms would be pain and swelling. If you have those and they're worse, you should be re-evaluated for an av fistula or pseudoaneurysm. ...Read more

No: Consistent with excessive bleeding from the site of angiocatheter entry. Mom had angiogram 3 days ago a little calf cramp only a 4 pain level. Doesn't hurt to touch. It it a emergency ?

Doesn't sound it is!: But I personally like all leg cramps to be evaluated by a physician. So make sure she sees her PCP ASAP, more so if any other symptoms like chest pain, Shortness of breath, develop. If no associated symptoms then I would just observe and see how it behaves, Taking some Muscle relaxer would be beneficial and using a Hot pack also is helpful. ...Read more

Other symptoms?: Hematomas are the most common vascular access site complication, occurring in 5%-25% of patients who undergo groin puncture. The risk of pseudoaneurysms is lower. If the bruise grows or is accompanied by firmness/bulging of the skin in the area, numbness, or pain, you should have it checked out sooner. http://www.aacn.org/wd/Cetests/media/C1253.pdf ...Read more

Address neuroma: An anesthesiologist who specializes in pain would be one to consult. Injecting lidocaine into the presumed neuroma should give instant relief, but lasts only a few hours. That would confirm the diagnosis and predict response to radio frequency neurolysis (RF). RF can then be used to give months of relief. ...Read more
