Angels Sleeping Mat Baby Breathing
1wk old baby was sleeping n was completely limp. Seemed to be breathing ok but was hard to wake up. He woke up completly 30min later he was ok. Worry?
Pediatrician answer: Newborns are much more flexible than we expect (head floppy, arms/ legs floppy). They sleep deeply which is why we put them on their backs to sleep so as not to suffocate in their bedding and certainly not in our bed. We physicians usually see the normal newborns every day in the hospital, 2 or so days post discharge, and about 10-14 days of life. Keep all of those appointments. ...Read more

My 6 month old baby is a very noisy sleeper he makes high pitch sounds he is breathing very well but he's been like this since born only in deep sleep?

An airway evaluation may also be recommended. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

6 months baby breathing noisily for about a month especialhen he is breast feeding and sleeping. Should i worry?

My baby in sleep makes snoring sounds as if he has difficulty breathing r like some blockage. He breathes normal wen not sleeping.Anything to worry?
Maybe. Make a movie.: To show the pediatrician what's happening, the parents can make a movie of the shirtless baby's breathing. Show the face, chest, and tummy at the same time, so the doctor can see how everything moves during breathing. A minute into the movie, open the mouth to show how the breathing changes; and then a minute later, close the mouth to show how the breathing changes again. ...Read more

Hi, my 2 weeks old baby girl is having a stuffy nosed and cough sometimes. trouble breathing and hard time sleeping. very heartbreaking. tried saline?
?irritants?: The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages & exposure to dust, fragrences, smoke & other irritants.Baby tries to flush these out of the nose with mucous but this often ends as congestion & produces rattling with breathing. The best rx is washing out the nose with saline & suctioning the remainder. Eliminate irritants from babies environment & this will happen less. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
