I have form of mds-refractory anemia. Let's get into that later. Have extreme drug reactions when using a new drug-siezures difficulty breathing etc. Dr want to do pristiq/imitrex istead of pristiq/fiorocet. I'm scared of severe reaction (always low hct)

Drug reaction: Refractory anemia has no impact on your question. the medications you mention usually used for migraine..any medications in the world have side effects to small percentage of the patients and the majority usually benefit from the medications. if you are afraid of the side effects, you may not be able to use any medications at all ...Read more

Don't know what: You mean by "didn't find enough blood". Was the nurse able to get enough blood for a test? If you got the test and it shows you have less than normal amount of red cells, it means you have anemia. What to do would depend on the reason for the anemia and how severe it is.
