Any dr read this destroying the myth about testosterone replacement and prostate cancer
by abraham morgentaler, md, facs introduction by william fa?
Uncertain: I disagree with some aspects of recommended treatments such as coffee enemas for detoxification purposes. I find no convincing studies proving benefit. In general, a working liver and healthy kidneys take care of detoxification quite admirably. Talking with people who have undergone treatment and discussing with various physicians and perhaps getting a second opinion would be worthwhile. ...Read more
Check state board,: You can message Dr. Timson on Healthtap Concierge if he has a concierge practice. If he does not, you can go online to the Ohio Board of Medicine, and check his profile. Sometimes docs will authorize their email addresses to be made available to the public. However, many docs do not choose to publish that information widely. Spam is a huge problem for all of us! ...Read more
Neurologist and author, David Perlmutter, claims that gluten causes Alzheimer's. Can someone provide journal references on research that proves this?
Fully disagree: There is NO solid evidence anywhere that gluten causes Alzheimer's disease, and there is NO relationship with Celiac disease and dementia, but Celiac disease does cause a Peripheral Small Fibre Neuropathy. We have some anecdotal cases of gluten sensitivity affecting MS indirectly, and maybe transient worsening of other conditions, but no Alzheimer's links. ...Read more

MyNetDiary is great: I personally use and recommend to my patients - mynetdiary as it has one of the most extensive databases available. If the food item is not included in the database you can enter the information, take a picture of the front and back of the item and it will be added to the database. For those patients with pcos or diabetes they have an excellent version focused on tracking carboydrates. ...Read more

Sweden has reviewed 16000 peer reviewed articles and concluded a low carb diet is safe and good for health. Do american doctors agree?
what is your opinion on humaworm (http://humaworm.Com/)? Fraud or useful alternative medicine?
Scam: The premise behind this supplement, that we need regular deworming, is not accurate. Also, there is no meaningful information about what formulation of herbs are in the supplement. The fact that it has been banned from several countries is a huge red flag. Save your money! ...Read more
Is lipo ex fda approved"? I find many different opinions. Look here: http://www.Lipoadvisor.Com/lipo-ex
Yes, but...: Fda approval for medical devices means something quite different than it does for drugs. Fda device approval only requires a fairly minimal review. It does not entail the kind of detailed safety and effectiveness studies that are required for drugs. The fact that a device is fda approved means little about whether it works or is a good idea. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
