Is it possible for someone to have anal sex vaginal sex and oral sex and get herpes only in one area?
Urine has a weird smell and sometimes it burns when I pee. This started happening after having anal sex (and vaginal right after by accident)?
Infection: Female urethra where the urine comes out is short and during intercourse it can be rubbed and irritated and a small amount of bacterial can go up the tube and into the bladder and start a urine infection. Going to the bathroom after intercourse sometimes will help resolve the problem. If symptoms persist then seek medical attention. ...Read more
Took ipill after 11 days of ovulation. When will I have my periods? Had anal sex not vaginal.26 aug was my due date.
Not sure: You know the first day of your last menstrual period, but how would you know for sure the day you ovulated which is usually 14 days after that? You wouldn't unless you were keeping track of your basal body temperature. Due date usually means the day that you are planning for the delivery of a baby, but I assume you mean when your next period is due. I guess you should have your period now. ...Read more

I had unprotected anal sex followed by vaginal. What are my chances of getting a vaginal infection? Should I pretreat with flagyl or monistat?
Good question...: ...without a good answer. It's often recommended that vaginal sex be avoided after anal (or wash between) to reduce infection risk. However, there are no data to show it's actually a problem, and bacterial vaginosis and yeast infections are no more common in women who have anal sex. I would not recommend pre-treatment; better to just be on the alert for early symptoms and prompt treatment. ...Read more

Is it safe to have unprotected anal sex and then unprotected vaginal sex right after? Heard its bad but my girlfriend has never had issues
Better than reverse: If it is not causing any pain, and you don't have any vaginal infection, then anal sex after vaginal sex is not likely to be a problem. Go slow, use lots of high quality lube such as pjur or astroglide, be gentle and stop if it hurts! Having anal sex before vaginal sex is likely to cause a severe vaginal infection, so don't go back to the vagina until after you have cleaned up with soap and water. ...Read more

How likely is it for a syphilis chancre to first appear more than four months after any oral, anal, or vaginal sex?
Not at all: It would have ocurred 4 mos ago. Usual primary lesion 10-21 days after infection, healing after 3-6 weeks if not treated. Reports of primary 90 days later should be treated with skepticism. No reports of chancre 120 days after infection. 2nd stage is, of course common at 4 months, but that is not a chancre. Clearly you are worried, so you should get checked. ...Read more

Why if you go from anal to vaginal sex you get a urinary tract infection? It's the second time it's happened?
Location: The reason is the very high exposure to gut bacteria. Some of the bacteria that cause urinary tract infections are bacteria that live in the gut (E. coli, enterococcus). The opening to the urethra, where the urine comes out, is close to the vagina. The bacteria get into the urethra, and from there into the bladder, where they can cause a bladder infection (cystitis). ...Read more

Is it safe for my girlfriend to have anal and vaginal sex at the same time? Meaning 1 penis in her vagina and 1 penis in her butt. Or is this unsafe?
Can be: The vagina is designed to accommodate a penis; less so the anal region. The vaginal skin is thicker and has a source of lubrication; anal mucosa is thinner and has no lubrication-thus easily torn. The anal muscles can be stretched to accommodate a penis and external lubrication can be added, so if you go slow and don't tear the tissue, can be safe for the woman. ...Read more
