Anagrelide Hydrochloride Medication
None I know of: As far as I can tell, Agrylin is the only available form of the drug anagrelide. There are other options, but only your hematologist can tell you if they are appropriate for you, and I don't know whether they are cheaper or not. The oldest drug for this is Hydroxyurea which is often combined with aspirin. If you cannot afford drugs, the companies do have vouchers; check out Medicaid and/or ACA. ...Read more
Hydroxyurea: Anagrelide not used much anymore due to the increase in fibrosis in the marrow. Hope this helps. ...Read more
Is there any chances of getting cancer if the normal person takes hydroxyurea or anagrelide more than a month?
I say no: The talk of an increased leukemia risk has been with us since the 1970s without anybody being able to measure it. If it's real, it's tiny. Anagrelide isn't under suspicion. If some overzealous practitioner went after a high platelet count without good reason, I'm sorry but you'll be fine. Why do you ask? ...Read more
Couple of uses: Pilocarpine eye drops are used to treat glaucoma by lowering eye pressure. It is an old medication and is infrequently used today because of undesirable side effects, such as constriction of the pupil and headache. It is also used sometimes before certain eye procedures. Pilocarpine is also in salagen, an oral medication used for dry mouth as it stimulates salivation. ...Read more
Yes: Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) is a new class of antidepressant. I have found it useful for anxiety as well as depression. It has different side effects than the others so might benefit people who didn't tolerate others well. No weight gain and maybe less sexual dysfunction, but can cause a lot of nausea and diarrhea and must be taken with food. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Diltiazem: Diltiazem is a medicine which lowers the blood pressure but also lowers the heart rate. This gives it an extra advantage but also means that people on this drug should be monitored by a cardiologist for slow heart rates. There are also multiple drug interactions with this drug. It is quite safe when prescribed by an eerie need doctor. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is a highly serotonergic medication such as viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) more prone to cause sedation or stimulation?
Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride): The side effect profile of this medication is more stimulating than sedating. However, individuals vary, and some do have sedation side effects with this medication. ...Read more
Why take low dosage of blood pressure medication 12.5 mg of hydrochloride if my blood pressure jumped around but was never high.
It depends: It may actually be for your kidneys, but not highly likely. More likely, it is to lower the "peaks" of your blood pressure, so they do not get as high. If you see #s >140 / >90, then your doc is likely doing this. If not, then you should ask your doc the rationale for the med since nothing is risk-free. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I know brintellix and viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) are both very new. Is it safe to try such new medication without there being alot of studies done? Side effects?
Yes: For a medication to be sold in the USA, it has to be approved by the FDA, (federal drug administration), which makes the Drug Co. go thru very rigorous trials to prove they are effective and "save" in human subjects. But as the drugs are tested in a limited amount of individuals, when ten of thousands of patients try them they could have more rare or idiosyncratic adverse effects. ...Read more

Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride): Although i don't have the list of all your medications, it would be best to discuss options with your prescribing doctor. What is the closest lidocaine hydrochloride medication sold over the counter. My husband is out of his prescription and we cant see Dr. for a month?
Meclizine hydrochloride is it good for tinnitus? I bought Dramamine (dimenhydrinate) All Day and it has 25 mg of that ingredient. How should I take this medication?
Is it true viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) causes seizures like wellbutrin does? I never had seizures bit don't want a medication that can cause one. How about brintellix?
Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) & seizures?: It's probably an oversimplification to say that viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) "causes" seizures. In some small percentage of the population, it can decrease seizure threshold. Although, it should be noted that most anti-depressants, albeit to widely varying degrees, decrease seizure threshold. The best thing to do is discuss your particular concerns & your risk/ benefit & side effect profile with your prescribing MD. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I just started viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride). I am weaning off pristiq.I have been having severe headaches. Could the new medication cause this? Or from decreasing pristiq?
Headache from meds: There are many causes of severe headache. Viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) can cause headaches as can weaning from pristiq. But, interestingly, viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) has also been used to avoid the Pristiq related headache issue! contacting the doctor who prescribed these medications is vital so that the doctor can immediately diagnose and treat the cause of the "severe headache" which may or may not be related to medication use. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Yes: there are no contraindications with any medication, as far as I know. Magnesium is found in many foods, and magnesium deficiency has become more common, particularly with use of drugs like omeprazole (Prilosec), esomeprazole (Nexium) and similar drugs which markedly reduce stomach acid and impede magnesium absorption. ...Read more
