Anabolic Steroids For Back Pain
Shrinking Testicles: Given your age, it would be my recommendation that you just leave them alone, not take more medications or hormones and let nature take the course of healing and let you recover your normal and natural hormone production. Once that happens your testicles will recover, start producing sperm again and all will be well. ...Read more
Long or short answer: Short answer is that Anabolic steroids cause growth (as opposed to androgenic steroids that make you masculine or corticosteroids & mineralocorticoids which do neither but are still important in our health). Long answer is that testosterone affects receptors inside cell, stimulating replication (growth). Check out www.Sportsci.Org/encyc/anabster/anabster.Html. ...Read more
Often: Quite a few gym guys who've tried anabolic steroids have reported being troubled by their own behavioral changes. I've been around fitness for decades, and every guy I know who's tried steroids has regretted experimenting. I'd urge you not to, but it's your decision. Most women prefer a naturally-fit man, and using steroids is mostly illegal, is cheating, and shrinks your testicles. No thanks. ...Read more
Bad idea: Anabolic steroids have lots and lots of nasty effects, including causing psychotic reactions, testicular atrophy, infertility, and heart disease. If you have any influence over this "someone, " tell them it's not worth it. In professional and even semi-professional sports, they are testing for it everywhere. Whatever improvement in muscle strength, bulk etc. Can be achieved by good diet;exercise. ...Read more
Hard work: Anabolic steroids have short-term and long-term side effects. There are many supplements that are supposed to increase the gains that you realize from your workouts. Any of those supplements that mimic the effects of steroids (remember androstenedione) potentially come with the same short and long term side effects. But nothing substitutes for hard work. ...Read more
What's to know?: I've been around gyms for decades, and every ordinary fitness-guy that I know who's tried them would urge others not to. The aggression can cause you to do something impulsively that you'll regret horribly; the depression after can land you in the mental ward. Most women prefer a naturally fit man and can tell -- and not just from your shrunken testicles. Please be careful, man, and choose wisely. ...Read more

Not a good idea.:
The anabolic steroids are not a good idea. Your system is highly stimulated already with an autoimmune disease. There is no sense in adding more chemicals for this. And sometimes people are already on steroids for the RA. If you are on DMARDS I would not add to the mix with anabolic steroids.
Best wishes. ...Read more

If prescribed: If steroids were prescribed by physician for a legitimate reason, and the benefits outweigh the potential side effects of the steroids, then it is ok. The most logical: Deduction is that the swelling is inflammation. You may have seeded an infection there if you didn't wipe top of bottle off when pulling into syringe or there was a contaminant in the liquid. You may have a pocket of infection that waxes ANS wanes or say a foreign body from the injection if u used a big needle. Next time it swells, go in and see if do thinks it looks infected.
