Two diff issues: Chorio is an infection that requires therapeutic antibiotics (amp+gent is a typical regimen; clinda is sometimes added) pprom is different- antibiotics in this case are for prolonging the latency between rupture and delivery to allow for steroid therapy (amp + e'mycin is the best combo.) if chorio develops, delivery is indicated and abx are changed to treat the actual infection. ...Read more
