Harm Reduction. : The ideal treatment for meth addiction is one that does not include use of stimulants. The meth addict treated with stimulant replacement runs the risk of impaired control over use. At the same time, the physician should "first do no harm", and in rare case by case basis may have to employ the lesser of two evils for purposes of harm reduction. How do amphetamines work? I know my Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) contains them, but Meth also has amphetamine in it. I was curious what the difference was?

In a nut shell: they work by increasing the dopamine in the nerve synapses. Amphetamines like Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) contain a set amount of medication. Normal??????: If you are smoking hash while knowing you are having drug testing, then you are in more trouble than you know. Firstly, you don't know what stuff is cut with, and it may have been cut with opioids or amphetamines (i assume you mean methamphetamine and not methadone). None of the so-called detox products work, and neither does drinking lots of water. You need to get help for your drug problem. ...Read more
