If i was taking amoxicillin for my tonsillitis will the amoxicillin help cure gonarrhea because my sex partner say he has gonarrhea?
No! See doc asap!: Gonorrhea (gc) has become a very resistant bacteria. To make matters worse, when there is gc there is often other bacteria that need to be treated. Gc needs an injected antibiotic called Ceftriaxone to cure it and it would be worth being treated for chlamydia at same time which needs a different pill. See your doctor asap! ...Read more

Contact your doctor and tell them that you are no better and perhaps they will be able to switch you to something else. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have really bad tonsillitis, been on amoxicillin 50mg for 2 and a half days, not clearing it as fast as I would like, can I take 4 a day?

Amoxicillin just might not be working at all, and might not work no matter how much you take of how long you take it. Rather than fiddle with the dose yourself, revisit your doctor and get a different antibiotic. ...Read more
