Take amoxicillin 500mg 3times a day. I usually take at 9am 3 pm and 9pm. I missed 9pm dose, woke up at 3.30am and took. Continue normal sched.dosage?
Dr prescribed 125mg/5ml amoxicillin for 16.8lb baby. 5ml three times daily. Is this the right dosage for her?
Maybe,maybe not : The dose for an infection will vary with the age of the patient and the illness being treated. If the kid is over 3 months of age and this is for a urinary tract or respiratory infection it is pretty standard. My 52lb son was given a dosage of 8mls twice a day of amoxicillin (400/5ml) for strep,Does this seem rigth? Because he not get well.
My 34lb daughter was given a dose of 1 1/2 tsp twice daily of amoxicillin 400mg but 2 days later my 50lb daughter was given the dose of only 1tsp x2 of 400mg ?! Seems off that my smaller child has the higher dosage?!
