Just had wisdom teeth out, could amoxicillin or vicodin be causing dizziness or is it a side effect of surgery?
My endodontist left root canal camber open after a 2nd visit due to interappointment flare-up, and I'm on medrol/amoxicillin/vicodin now. What should I expect? Will I get reinfected by leaving root canal open? Please help! Thx!

Bad mix.: You could die. Mixing alcohol and an opioid can cause the brain to stop telling your lungs to breathe. More than that, Amoxicillin plus alcohol can cause increased risk of vomiting and diarrhea. Add intoxication effects into the mix - could be a deadly cocktail. It is not recommended to use amoxicillin for UTI as this group of medications has been met with increasing resistance from he usual Bacteria that cause UTIs. If the culture confirms sensitivity and you cannot tolerate Bactrim or nitrofurantoin, then it is reasonable to try (ensuring that prior cultures if present have not shown resistant pathogen).
