If I have high blood pressure without on medicine and on amoxicillin and plan in getting drunk this weekend what can happen?

Alcohol and BP: The Amoxicillin and alcohol is not the best idea. But the BP elevation and alcohol can cause a stroke quite easily. A bad idea, and a sadly all too common mistake. Also, the illness for which you are taking Amoxicillin is probably more likely the cause. Ill people's sex drive is decreased. If your sex drive was fine before the illness and penicillin, it should normalize afterwards. If not, check with your doc. ...Read more

Considering about 30% of population has HTN, it is fairly common.
