Maybe: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is a pretty broad spectrum antibiotic. See if the doc can give you a narrower abx. I would definitely take probiotics but that may not prevent cdiff. Crohn's does not come from taking augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate). ...Read more

As long as U feel-: -good, there is no reason not 2 workout. Antibiotics R not something that should limit Ur workout schedule. The only time is when U R sick. After 24-36 hours U R not going 2 spread anything. Some antibiotics in the tetracycline family can cause skin reactions from the sun, & there R some others. It enables Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) to kill bacteria resistant to amoxicillin. Like Amoxicillin Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) can cause an allergic rash - hives and angioedema usually appearing right after the 1st dose - or an Amoxicillin rash - red flat or raised spots that don't itch appearing on the 7-10th day of treatment. Not smart: Call your gyn but u need to see the doc and leave a urine sample to what the bact is and what antibiotics it will be sensitive to and Augmentin not a good one for uti's bact is often resisitent to taht one go to an urgent visit center if or call your gyn Cipro (ciprofloxacin) is much better and generic is cheap, your doc can call something in and u can go the next morning to leave a sample. ...Read more

No: This is not an allergy, per se. Diarrhea is likely caused by the killing of certain healthy gut bacteria. Sometimes it is helpful to eat yogurt (with culture) or take probiotic.
